E-Star in Education

The Star is Education is a cooperative effort of newspapers working with local schools to encourage the use of the newspaper as a tool for instruction and to promote literacy. Under the program, The Star sponsors newspapers for teachers to use in their classrooms. SIE teachers also receive curriculum ideas, teaching materials, special supplements, newsletters, training opportunities and more.
